2006 Blind & Transparent Doors & Windows (Homemade Urban Architecture) - Amsterdam and China. A project in which I create doors and windows from Ductape in public space which are blind or transparent and reflect by their nature the environment they are placed in. Often these situations are socially and/or economically problematic. In other cases the doors and windows reference to disturbed relationships in all facets of (contemporary) society.

2006 Double Blind (Homemade Urban Architecture) - Galerie Magda Danysz, Paris. These windows on windows are double blind. They are non-opening windows on non-opening windows. They investigate how we perceive reality and to what extend we are capable of determining truth, misinformation, trained behavior and objectiveness in our current information-driven society.

2006 Transparent Window (Homemade Urban Architecture) - Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dance and architecture. The dynamic versus the static. Mixing these two disciplines for me is to discover a new way of looking. I want to learn how to dance a building. How to dance the soul of a building. I want to dance the movement of a building that's not moving but leaning against a storm or swaying it's hips in the rhythm of a big cities' rush hour, like slow jazz, head hanging down.

2006 Blind Door, Blind Window (Homemade Urban Architecture) - Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Architecture is a multidimensional construction that adds physical functionality. This can be for purposes of living, work or leisure. Form enhances the intended function. Creating architecture in many cases is an exclusive activity to it's creator: the architect.
