Mimi at work

Mimi's work consists of cut and folded photographs of urban inviroment which she recomposes into three-dimensional paper sculptures. She has been using Island6 arts centre as an atelier where the results will be on display on the 9th of March.

Static / Dynamic performance results

The project where I re-create the original sketch by Frank Gehry made for the constuction of the Guggenheim Bilbao. Dancing and drawing with light the static of the building is turned back into the dynamic. Now to be transformed by Stefano Tedesco into a piece of experimental music and finally back into a building by architects.

Chinese Whisper has now reached step 3

Everybody check out our collective project Chinese Whisper, invented by Jeb Beresford and based on a photo by Frédéric Froument. Via transformations by Alexandra, Mimi and me we now have reached step 4 which will be executed by Ruben. Check out the results so far via the link on the right.

Platform for Urban Investigation

This is the official work-blog of the Platform for Urban Investigation Shanghai II taking place at Island6 Arts Center from February 26th until April 1st. This is the place where all participants can post ideas, sketches, images etc. about their and other's projects.

The Platform for Urban Investigation is a cross-disciplinary worldwide nomadic platform working with architects, choreographers, dancers, musicians, visual artists and all other cultural producers, cross-breeding their disciplines in creative projects in order to discover new directions for cultural development.
